21.11.2017 — Elite Report: Berenberg “Best Asset Manager" once again in 2018
Hamburg/Munich. Private bank Berenberg has been named “Best Asset Manager” by the “Elite Report” for the ninth time in a row.
Yesterday evening in Munich, Germany’s oldest private bank was awarded the “Winner’s certificate” in the report “Die Elite der Vermögensverwalter”. This is now the ninth consecutive time that Berenberg has achieved the best score in the analysis, winning the “summa cum laude” distinction for the 14th time. Elite Report editor-in-chief Hans-Kaspar v. Schönfels highlighted: “This private bank steeped in tradition has hugely broadened its future opportunities by tapping into further high-profile service areas. In addition, its dynamic and well developed investment style with a respectable performance is very convincing. This is an example of an age-old business showing its vitality – in a wonderfully customer-oriented and forward-looking manner.”
“We are delighted to accept this sought-after award for what is now the ninth time,” says Dr Hans-Walter Peters, Spokesman for the Managing Partners of Berenberg. “As an owner-managed private bank with a 427-year company tradition, Berenberg has consistently adjusted its business model to the needs of its clients. As private bankers, we maintain especially close contact with our customers and a very strong customer gearing.”
In its study, the Elite Report analysed a total of 352 asset managers throughout the German-speaking countries.
